Philodendron Gloriosum
(Slow growing)
PLU 3105
Picture(s) shown is only a representation of a mature plant and not the actual plant. Small juvenile plants often look different from a grown speciment.
Description
The Philodendron gloriosum is increasingly sought after and has become exceptionally rare and vulnerable in its native Colombian habitat. As of 2021, there are only 7 locations across the world where it can be found growing natively. This isn't a climbing epiphyte like many other Philodendron species. Instead, the heartleaf-shaped, velvety foliage with eye-catching white veins has a creeping, ground-crawling habit. Part of the appeal of this plant is its forgiving, low-maintenance nature. It's pretty slow-growing, and new foliage usually takes over a month to open up.
