Description

The leaves of the Zanzibar Croton (so called as it originates form the Island of Zanzibar) are long and narrow-shaped, with a glossy texture. They are typically green with yellow or red veins but can also expect a mix of colours in shades of bright yellows, red, orange, and occasionally pink to purple.

The Crotons are small, beautiful and unique shrubs that typically stay small to medium-sized, with an average height of 900cm. It has a slow growth rate that can take several years to reach its full size. Crotons are native to the tropical regions of Africa and Asia, so it prefers warm, humid climates. Croton plants require a minimum of four hours of sun exposure per day. Light exposure should be bright but indirect. Not enough sun will cause the leaves to lack variegation.
