Description
Philodendron Minima is a tropical houseplant that looks a lot like a Monstera Deliciosa, so it makes sense that its nickname is "Mini Monstera". It is a vining plant with small glossy green leaves that develop fenestrations as they mature. The plant looks like a philodendron plant in its juvenile stage and resembles a mini version of the Monstera plant with split leaves but no holes as it matures. In fact, Philodendron Minima is a distant relative of both Monsteras and Philodendrons under the same Araceae family. The plant is great for hanging baskets or pots due to its huge leaves that develop on trailing stalks. An extremely rare, variegated specimen sold in August 2020 for $8,150 on the trading site Trade Me.
